It's tough for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have long been mastered.

We're talking about the squad that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained over three years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, those for the record chasers, are what's still available for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

It needed as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowlers that have sported the yellow jersey over the last half-century.

When she was out Australia required another 66 at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the belief to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, if we do, we are confident we can achieve it."

Those words will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this championship need to hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this success coming after victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a last-four spot may well be secure.
